Care Home Open Day is a UK wide initiative inviting care homes to open their doors to their local communities. Thousands of care homes take part every year. Growing Support is working in partnership with Care Home Open Day to run the Growing Support Gardening Challenge, a national competition aiming to enable more people living in care to be active in the garden than ever before.

The Dementia Wellbeing Service is a partnership between the Alzheimer’s Society and Devon Partnership NHS Trust and provides dementia care and support in Bristol. Growing Support is working in partnership with the Dementia Wellbeing Service to increase opportunities for people with dementia to participate in sociable and therapeutic gardening activities.

Peoples Health Trust

HealthTogether is a Community Interest Company committed to raising money to address health inequalities in Wiltshire, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. www.healthtogethercic.org.uk. We are working with Health Together to deliver an inter-generational gardening club in East Redcliffe.

partner_Green-Accountancy We work with Green Accountancy to ensure not only that we have robust financial procedures in place but that we follow good environmental practice.
FCFCG-Logo-Vertical-web We are working with the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens, with support from the John Ellerman Foundation, to share best practice across the UK.
Bristol-Ageing-Better Bristol Ageing Better is a lottery funded partnership of organisations and individuals, working together to tackle loneliness and social isolation amongst older people in Bristol. Growing Support is working in partnership with Bristol Ageing Better to deliver peer support and group work projects to older people with dementia and those living in residential care.
Bloomfield We work in partnership with care homes across the South West including  AbleCare Homes, Barchester, Bridge Care,  Brunel Care, Bristol Care Homes BUPA , the Embrace Group,  Grove Care , Milestones Trust,   Sirona Care and Windmill Care to deliver Social and Therapeutic Horticulture activities to the residents of their care homes.
Bristol City CouncilBristol Public Health supports our work to enable people with dementia to access community gardening activities.
partner_Greater-Bedminster-Community-Partnership Thanks to funding from the Better Bedminster Community Chest we will be supporting older people with dementia to take part in social and therapeutic horticulture activities through 2014.
